LabSharks (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides an in-browser music creation experience. This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website and services (collectively, the “Service”).
Information we collect
- Account and profile. When you register or sign in, we collect identifiers such as your email address and authentication data from your chosen sign-in method.
- Content you create. We store the music projects, prompts, settings, and related files you generate or upload in the Service, including exports and downloads you request.
- Usage and technical data. We may collect device and browser type, general location derived from IP (e.g., region), and diagnostic or performance data to operate and improve the Service.
- Support communications. If you contact us, we keep the contents of those messages and our replies.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Service (including authentication, storage, and playback);
- Process your requests, such as generation jobs and file downloads;
- Communicate with you about the Service (e.g., account or security notices);
- Understand usage patterns and fix bugs;
- Comply with law and enforce our terms.
Sharing and optional public links
Your creations are treated as private by default. If you choose to enable a share link for a track, we make limited information (for example, title and audio needed for playback) available to anyone with that link. You can stop sharing where the product supports it.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who help us run the Service (such as hosting, analytics, or email), subject to appropriate safeguards, and when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Payments
Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We receive billing-related information (for example, subscription status and customer identifiers) from Stripe; payment card details are handled by Stripe according to its policies. See Stripe’s privacy documentation at stripe.com/privacy.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure reliability. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit certain features.
Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account where the product supports it; some information may persist in backups for a limited period.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
International users
If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, to the extent permitted by law.
